Hosted by the Switzerland County Tractor & Engine Club, Inc., the “On the River” Car Show will take place Sat. Oct. 4 at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park in Vevay, IN.
The top 75 vehicles will receive an award, along with ten special awards for the Best Car, Best Truck, Best Bike, Best Project, Ladies Choice, Specialty Award, Club Participant Award, Switzerland Co. Tractor Club Pick, Lynn Bear Memorial Award and Best of Show.
Cash prizes of $50 will be awarded every half hour beginning at noon, with five $100 drawings at 4:00 pm. Door prizes will also be given.
Antique tractors, along with emergency and fire apparatus by the Switzerland County EMS and other local fire stations will also be on display. Event shirts, a 50/50 drawing, dash plaques and a National Street Rod Association Safety Check will be available. Food and drinks will be provided by the Fraternal Order of Police #174 and oldies music performed by a deejay.
Registration is $15 and will be held from 8 am-noon. Awards will be given at 4:00 pm.
No alcohol, bicycles or skateboards will be permitted and show coordinators or their affiliates will not be held responsible for accidents.
In case of rain, the event will take place on Sun. Oct. 5.
