The two artists' works on exhibit at Revelry currently are Staci McKnight Maney and Alex Kennedy.

Staci McKnight Maney works caught my eye as soon as I entered Revelry. Staci’s works, “Sight Unseen” are mixed media and paintings on canvas. Staci takes distresses books, reads them, sometimes rereads them and decides what pieces of those books she wants to use for her paintings. She has and shows a love for words in the paintings. Each painting or image has a plot and can take up to two years to complete. Her love for art and dedication shows in her paintings. My favorite is "I Have Seen," which you can find attached below.

Alex Kennedy, also a painter, has a different style and his reasoning behind the style is unique. Alex's first paintings were of religious images on plain backgrounds. He said, “I began to think who these people are? Did anyone know them or were they just everyday people?”  He then began to use people in various situations people would be in today, "Saturated Belief” and added it to the religious iconic style. He used glazed wood, and gold paint creating various looks. My favorite, featured, is Troubled Waters. Alex's work is very promising; he is a new artist in the Louisville area.

Alex’s current contact information is through Revelry.
