The Louisville Bar Association is proud to team with the Center for Interfaith Relations and Interfaith Paths to Peace in presenting this very informative topic on one of the fastest growing social movements in the legal profession - Restorative Justice.
The program will feature Dr. Fania E. Davis, a civil rights attorney and director of Restorative Justice for Oakland Youth in California, who will discuss the origins, principles and practices of restorative justice and how it is being applied in courtrooms around the world.
This free program will be followed by a workshop at which the fundamentals of facilitating a community sentencing circle will be introduced.
