The Cats have one more game to fine tune their ball handling skills against Portland before going up against St. John’s and UNC. Portland makes the journey to Rupp with a 2-3 record overall and a 0-2 record on the road. This evening will be interesting since the Wildcats are on a 5-0 streak, having the pleasure of warming up with less challenging opponents on the verge of St. John’s and #1 UNC coming into Rupp in the coming weeks.
It is nice that Teague got it together for the last home game, and we shall see if he can stay the course through tonight’s contest. If the Cats continue to talk with each other while on the offensive, we could see a stellar performance. Coach Cal likes when his players mix it up here and there and just don’t run the same ole’ plays. This will be a must for the Cats tonight!
