Preservation Louisville is co-sponsoring a lecture series with the Metro Louisville Historic Landmarks Commission and the Kentucky Heritage Council, called Hands on History. This lecture series is designed to give participants an in-depth look at preservation issues and methods of preservation maintenance.
Preservation Louisville’s “Hands on History” workshop and lecture series will continue with “Preservation is Green: The Anatomy of a Historic House.” Led by architect Gary Kleier, the workshop will discuss the components of a historic home and will highlight how preservation is “green.” With 33 years of experience, and specialties in historic renovation, restoration, and green concepts for historic structures, Kleier is sure to help those dealing with restoration and renovation issues in a historic home.
