Presentation Academy will honor recipients of its 2010 Tower Awards for Women Leaders during its annual awards dinner on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 in the Ballroom of the Louisville Marriott Downtown, 280 W. Jefferson Street. A silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., with dinner and the awards ceremony following at 7 p.m.

Now in its 15th year, the Tower Awards dinner is an annual mission-driven event that recognizes the accomplishments and community service of remarkable women and one organization that provide our students and the community with worthy role models. The Tower Awards dinner is Pres’ largest fundraiser and its proceeds help to provide financial assistance for eligible students.

The 2010 recipients and their respective Tower Awards categories are: Arts & Communication, Jackie Hays; Business, Technology & Trade, Nana Lampton; Education, Miriam Corcoran, SCN, Presentation Class of 1941; Government & Law, Angela M. Ford; Science & Healthcare, Anees Chagpar, M.D.; Service, Christine Johnson; Community Corporate Award, Dismas Charities, Inc.
