Pre-Election Day Party @ Glassworks - Hot Heads

For the October First Friday Trolley Hop, Glassworks will host a dynamic political event to educate, empower, and excite local voters for the upcoming Election Day on November 4th. Kentuckians for the Commonwealth, Glassworks Artists, and local photographer, Colin Miller have all worked together in producing this art-centered political event.
Hot-Sculpted Glass Heads: In the Hot Shop at Glassworks, a team of glass artists will hot sculpt “political caricatures” in glass.
Draw your own Conclusion, a political photography installation: Colin Miller, Louisville based photographer will be exhibiting “Draw your Own Conclusion” at Glassworks. Viewers will be invited to use a dry-erase marker directly on the larger than life size portraits of some of the most recognizable political figures in U.S. politics today.
Voter Resources and Information: The Electoral Organizer’s from the Kentuckians for the Commonwealth (KFTC) will attend the event providing both voter registration onsite and voter education and empowerment resources.
