“The cosmological powers of the Universe are coursing through us moment by moment. To become aware of these powers is to touch the source of Life.” During this presentation Mr. Swimme will lead an exploration of the Powers of the Universe and the ways in which the human community can foster these same powers as we seek to create a sustainable society. We will look at the ways in which the powers of the Universe are alive within each of us, how to align ourselves with these powers, and how to develop a deeper intimacy with planet Earth.

Dr. Brian Swimme is a mathematical cosmologist on the graduate faculty of the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon specializing in gravitational dynamics, mathematical cosmology and singularity theory. His books include: The Hidden Heart of the Cosmos: Humanity and the New Story, The Universe is a Green Dragon and The Universe Story (with Fr. Thomas Berry).
