The seemingly stark winter landscape is in reality full of magic and beauty in Bernheim's arboretum habitat displays and plant collections. Come discover the flowers, berries, bark, color and textures of nature in winter and expand your photography skills with expert nature photographer Mike Matthews. This program is from 10:00 a.m. to noon; the fee is $45 for members and $55 for non-members. Advance registration required. Age 13 and up. Meet at the Visitor Center. Also on this day, fair weather naturalists and families can come to Bernheim’s Visitor Center from 1 – 4pm to make a free Bernheim Bits of Winter bracelet and get directions for a self-guided Winter Driving Tour of the Arboretum Grounds, or take self-guided walk on the Sun and Shade Loop to discover and photograph your own "stars" of the winter landscape.
