Sake Blue Japanese Bistro is a modern sushi and grill restaurant that debuted in July 2008. Locally owned, Sake Blue hopes to capture the hearts (and appetites!) of all of its customers in its local neighborhood of Fern Creen and Greater Louisville. It offers an extensive menu that includes:

* Orange Ginger Scallops (pan-seared scallops with orange-ginger dressing, preserved lemon, creamy polenta, and kale

* Chicken Teriyaki - served with miso mashed potatoes, wilted spinach, and roasted red pepper coulis

* Miso-Glazed Cod - Cod marinated in miso and sake and pan roasted, with pan seared sushi rice, and asparagus

* Signature rolls that delectably combine the traditional with a modern flair: Sake Blue roll, King Cobra, Pink Cadillac, Godzilla, Big Mouth, Crunch Munch, Ocean Sundae, Sakura, and a house favorite, the Chef Jack Roll

* Traditional Nigiri and Sashimi

* Hibachi grill items - enjoy the show as our hibachi chefs cook your food to your liking right in front of you! Great for families with kids as well as anyone who likes a hearty Japanese steak/seafood meal!

* Penny Sake Night - Enjoy drinking this traditional Japanese rice-based wine for just one penny with an order of an entree
