The sky was overcast, the rains were coming yet again, and the January blues had set in, but all was sunny and happy in Indian Hills last week/files/storyimages/at the home of Jeanne and David Ferguson.
Jeanne, Diane Carli, Sara Huggins, Nancy Laird, Kay Matton, Anne Tipton and Judy Wayne hosted a baby shower for Christy Ames, who is married to Rob Bonar.
They are expecting a baby girl, who is already named Brooke!
Maida Wood, Mary Reisert, Helen Prittie, Nancy Welter, Kate Gaunt, Sug Schusterman, Sue Baughman and Mariam Bodner were among the attendees.
Jamie Swyers and Chris Radtke really enjoyed seeing Christy. They had watched her grow up when the three families were neighbors in Rolling Fields.
Jeanne Ferguson was reminiscing about the time when Christy was a Kentucky Derby Festival princess and Jeanne had the pleasure of introducing her to a real prince, Prince Albert of Monaco, at the Derby. She said both “royals” were modest and charming.
