Mountain biking (mostly singletrack, some gravel and paved roads); paddling (river, flat); trekking; rappelling; climbing (non-technical); challenging navigation throughout. Course will be entirely ROGAINE-style, meaning you collect as many points as you can in 8 hours. You decide which CPs to visit, in what order, and by what means. Good strategy and solid navigation will be key to beating the Otter and winning the coveted "Golden Otter" trophy.

Registration:
$75 per person, includes race, dinner, wicking race shirt, waterproof maps, insurance, and one heckuva view of the Ohio River
Canoes/Kayaks available for $20 per boat
Lodging available in group camp (primitive cabins) for $15 per person
Climbing gear available for $5 per person
REGISTRATION CLOSES SEPTEMBER 13TH!!
Prizes:
We'll have some great prizes to give away, thanks in part to sponsorship from The Extreme Outfitters, your adventure racing specialty shop in Indiana. Stop by the store in Carmel to pick up everything you need to wear or carry in order to beat the Otter!
Volunteers:
If you're unsure whether adventure racing is for you, but would like to check it out behind the scenes and meet some like-minded outdoors people, consider volunteering! We'll feed you, put you up in a group cabin for the night (if you come down Friday), and give you a nice wicking race shirt for your efforts. Besides all that, we'll be eternally grateful for the help!
