Recently Louisville teenager Katie Lasitter was severely injured while on an amusement park ride. Katie's mother, Monique, worked at O'Shea's Irish Pub in the Highlands for years.
"When we heard about what happened to Katie we were deeply saddened," said owner Tom O'Shea. "We talked with our staff and worked together to come up with a plan to help the Lasitter family. We just want to do whatever we can to ease their burden in this difficult time."
In response to the tragedy the O'Shea's management and staff have planned a fund-raiser to be held on Monday, August 6th 2007. For the entire day O'Shea's Irish Pub at 956 Baxter Avenue will donate 100% of the proceeds from sales directly to the Lasitter family.
"Our doors open at 11:00 a.m. Please join us in our effort to help Katie on her road to recovery," said O'Shea.
