This workshop will be taught by James Peake who has been working as the Education Outreach Coordinator for the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) for the past four years. Students will discover the joy of origami and explore several traditional models and practice a handful of useful origami bases. Participants will walk away with a (folded) box full of colorful models that will include some animals, puppets, vessels and more. Paper provided, along with a book recommendation list and some diagrams. This workshop is being held in conjunction with the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts.
