The Old Louisville Chamber of Commerce (OLCC) is pleased to present Dining at the Mansions, a progressive dinner on Sunday, March 13 that benefits the Visitors Center in Historic Old Louisville. This year’s event features renowned author David Dominé as honorary chair. In addition to drawing attention to one of the nation’s premier historic neighborhoods, the event showcases the cuisine and historic homes featured in Dominé’s newest book A Feast for the Eyes: Recipes from America’s Grandest Victorian Neighborhood.
The evening begins at 5 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, wine and a silent auction at the J.B. Speed Mansion at 505 W. Ormsby Ave., which was featured on the cover of Dominé’s most recent book. From there, guests will board a shuttle for the main course at one of the neighborhood’s elegant historic homes, one of which will host Dominé as guest chef. The event will conclude at the Speed Mansion with dessert and the silent auction conclusion from 8:15 to 9 p.m. The price to attend is $85 per person, or $150 per couple. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Visitors Center in Historic Old Louisville at (502) 637-2922. Reservations are required by March 6.
