New Year’s Eve celebrations are different for everyone from the individual meaning to the chosen method of celebrating.  As Ken Shapero with the Jazz Factory explains “New Year’s Eve is important to everybody across the country.  It gives you a chance to celebrate not only the past year, but the upcoming one as well.”

The Jazz Factory will be having their annual Big Band Dinner Dance Extravaganza and Shapero says that although the hotspot will have a different look, in a way it will be what they do all year-round.  “New Year’s gives us a chance to show the best of what we can do and share that with the customers.”  Although tickets can be purchased at the door for their event, Shapero suggests people get them in advance, as capacity is 300 guests.

Wherever your New Year’s Eve celebration takes you, Louisville.com reminds everyone to be responsible while enjoying the holiday.  If your party involves drinking, be sure to have a designated driver.  If not, get your cell phone out and program in the following numbers to help you get home.  You can thank us later.

    City Scoot: (502) 566-6384

    Ready Cab Co: (502) 451-4825

    Yellow Cab: (502) 636-5511

We hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!
