Vincenzo’s sent me the scoop on their New Year’s Eve deals. There is an early, more affordable seating and a later, more expensive dinner that includes live music from the Bennett Higgins Jazz Trio.
The first package is the Early Diners Special, it is $59 per person, and begins at 5pm on New Year’s Eve. This 4-course meal includes a salad with grilled scallops, four cheese ravioli, veal chop with mashed potatoes, and a poached pear filled with amaretto cream for dessert.
OK that dessert? Can I just have that please? While chocolate in all it’s forms is great and all but a poached pear with amaretto cream? Come on that just sounds too good for words.
The later, swankier package is the Champagne Dinner Special at $75 per person and is offered after 9pm. This meal gives you an arugula salad with mango and three cheeses, crepe seafood, combination of lobster and filet rossini with fresh vegetables, and amaretto cheesecake for dessert. This meal also includes champagne so drink up and celebrate the 2008 and hope for a very good 2009.
