The Kentucky State Fair Board is pleased to announce the appointments of two new board members – Mike Libs and Fred Sarver.

Mr. Libs resides in Philpot, Kentucky and represents the state at large. He served as Daviess County Clerk from 1982 to 2006 and was president of the Kentucky County Clerks’ Association for two terms. Mr. Libs also served on the board of directors of the International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers from 1994 to 2006.

Mr. Sarver resides in Paris, Kentucky and represents the American Saddlebred Horse Association. He manages Leatherwood Stud, LLC in Paris and serves on the executive board for the American Saddlebred Horse Association and the board of directors for the United States Equestrian Federation.

Along with the new appointments, board member Anna Jane Cave was reappointed for another term. Ms. Cave has served on the Kentucky State Fair Board for 16 years.

The terms for Mr. Libs, Mr. Sarver and Ms. Cave expire December 12, 2012.
