    Louisville, KY –January 31, 2005, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) National President, Beverly J. Inman-Ebel, will visit the Louisville chapter on February 15 & 16.  During her visit, Ms. Inman-Ebel will address local women business owners at a special breakfast meeting open to the public on February 16 at the Olmsted, 3701 Frankfort Avenue.   Ms. Inman-Ebel, a renowned author and speaker, will talk on women-owned business enterprises and national and statewide issues that impact women entrepreneurs and small businesses.  And, she will share her insights on how corporations can benefit from partnerships with organizations such as NAWBO. 


    Ms. Inman-Ebel’s visit kicks off the 2005 membership drive.  In addition to delivering the keynote address at the February 16 breakfast meeting, Ms. Inman-Ebel will att/files/storyimages/the Greater Louisville, Inc. annual dinner where she will be recognized as a special guest. 


    Inman-Ebel is CEO of TLC, Talk Listen Communicate, LLC, of Chattanooga, TN.  TLC was recognized in Chattanooga as Small Business of the Year in 2000, and she was awarded “International Woman Entrepreneur of 2004-2006” by FCEM, an international organization with 61 countries as members.  She is the author and co-author of three books on communication strategies and success.  She serves on the national advisory boards including Office Depot and Wells Fargo, and previously served with The Center for Women Business Research in NYC.  She has been invited to the White House by both the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations.

    The National Association of Women Business Owners’ organization propels women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.  NAWBO is the only dues-based national organization representing the interests of all women entrepreneurs in all industries.  The association currently has over 8,000 members in nearly 80 chapters nationwide, and is affiliated with Les Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs) in 35 countries.   The Louisville NAWBO chapter has 160 members and is considered one of the largest and most successful chapters in the nation. Reservations for the February 16 event may be made by calling 899-9238.  Cost for NAWBO members is $15, non-members is $20.  Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m.
