Ahhhh....there's nothing like the holidays in Kentucky.  If the weather is right, you might actually get to take a horse-drawn sleigh across the hilly terrain.  OK, maybe we don't quite get to that extreme, but candlelit and cozy homes are most definitlely in the plan.  And to help out this holiday season, Maker’s Mark Distillery will hold their annual candlelight holiday tours in Loretto.

Open on December 1 and again on December 8, from 5:30 PM -7:30 PM, the festively decorated distillery will have special self-guided tours with refreshments and music.

In addition, the newly opened visitor’s center will provide a perfect place to shop featuring unique holiday bottles of Makers Mark, double dipped in green over silver colored wax, as well as other signature items.  These special holiday bottles are only available at the distillery.

Bill Samuels Jr., President of Makers Mark, extends a personal invitation: “It has always been a Samuel’s family tradition to open our home and share the holidays with our friends.  Our home just happens to be a distillery.”  The first 200 special holiday bottles sold each Saturday will be signed by Bill Samuels Jr.
