Checkers is an American pastime and here at Glassworks, we're red, white and blue (and yellow, green, purple, orange, etc.). We encourage you to come on in to the Walk-in Workshop, and try your hand at creating your very own checker board. Are you sure you want to move there? Using the fusing method of layering glass upon glass, then "melting" the glass together in our kiln, you can design your own 10"x10" version of one of America's favorite games. No glass experience necessary. Glass maximum is 6. Checker board will be completed in one afternoon but will require a night in the kiln. Your piece will be finished and ready for pickup no later than a week after the workshop.
