Louisville’s most exciting new fashion event will begin Monday, September 12, 2005. The Afternoon Delites fashion shows at lunch will be held the second Monday of every month at Rick’s Ferrari Grill located at 3930 Chenoweth Square in the heart of St Mathews from 11:30am-1pm. This new event will be co-sponsored and promoted by radio station Lite 106.9!
Elise Goldberg, who has masterminded the event, is recreating the glory days of the lunchtime fashion shows that were held at the old Bauer’s restaurant in the early 80’s. Professional models will be showcasing new designs from Louisville’s finest boutiques during each event. Rick’s will be featuring special “Lite Bite’s” lunch items along with their full menu for this event.
A portion of all jewelry and clothing sales during the Afternoon Delites fashion shows will be donated to a local charity.
