Coming off a Final Four season and returning eleven of the players that got them there, including Chane Behanan, Gorgui Dieng and All-American Peyton Siva, the University of Louisville basketball Cardinals announced that there will be three Red-White intrasquad scrimmages at the KFC Yum! Center next month. To get an early look at this years Cards remember the following dates and times:
- Saturday, October 13 (time to be determined)
- Sunday, October 21 at 4pm
- Saturday, October 27 at 2pm
The October 13th game time has yet to be determined because the basketball team doesn't want to conflict with the football Cardinals, who play Pittsburgh that same day. That first scrimmage will be part of the “Return to the Nest” Homecoming celebration on Main Street.
Tickets to the Red-White games run from $5 in the end zones to $10 for corner and lower side seats. They go on sale Thursday at the UofL ticket offices, the KFC Yum! Center and at the next two football home games which are this Saturday against North Carolina and again on Saturday, October 20th when Teddy Bridgewater and company take on the University of South Florida. Tickets will also be available through Ticketmaster but will also be subject to its “convenience” fee.
