The red carpet opening night event features Hollywood producers, directors and actors, with food and drink provided by Louisville Originals and Republic National Distributing Company of Kentucky. The film will be “The Burning Plain” directed by Academy Award nominated screen writer Guillermo Arriaga (“Babel”) and costarring Charlize Theron, Kim Bassinger and native Louisvillian Jennifer Lawrence. Louisville's International Festival of Film continues through Sunday, October 4, 2009.
