If there is one thing Wildcat fans know, it’s that a little hard work leads to big rewards. With this philosophy in mind, the Louisville Zoo is having a repeat performance of last year’s popular “Garden Talk for the First Timer,” which is geared towards the beginner gardener who wants to get the most out of their soil.
Hosted by 84WHAS Radio and Wave 3 Gardening Expert Cindi Sullivan, Jefferson County Extension Agent for Horticulture Donna Michael and Director of the Louisville Zoo John Walczak, participants will learn everything they need to know about planting a garden and harvesting the results. The forum will be held Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gheens Room of the Louisville Zoo. Admission is $10 per person. Members of the Louisville Zoo and the UK Alumni Association get in free. Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 10 to 502-562-5728 or Tanya.jones@imgworld.com.
