The controversial Westboro Baptist Church paid a visit to Louisville just a week after the supreme court upheld the first amendment, protecting their rights to protest military funerals and churches. I asked the people of Louisville how they felt about Westboro Baptist Church and below you'll find what they had to say.
Others had the following to say:
- I really believe if we (society as a whole) would stop giving them attention, and instead focus energy on having people like The Freedom Riders and others like them that just block and drown out WBC, they'd probably stop coming around as much. Attention is their opiate, the more they get--the more they want.
- It's legal but not right.
- They don't represent God well.
