    This year's show will be bigger and better than ever before with a variety of features that are new to the show. There will be  hundreds of exhibitors with everything imaginable for your home and garden, lavious Garden Areas, The Tr/files/storyimages/Cooking Stage featuring local chefs - and this year will also feature a HOME & GARDEN MARKETPLACE where visitors can purchase items for the home & garden right there on the show floor. There will also be numerous seminars (see information below) and even things for the kids. The Kentucky Derby Festival will sponsor the KIDS AREA where activities will run daily for children 12 & under and there are also going to be at least seven playhouses on display for Hospice of Louisville. The houses will be auctioned and money raised will help Hospice of Louisville.

    The 2006 Home, Garden & Remodeling Show, sponsored by Louisville Gas & Electric, features seminars for the gardeners and home improvement fans, as well as informative cooking demos by well-known local chefs. These new features will make this Show one of the most exciting ever. There will be an abundance of home & garden related products and services at the Show - it will simply amaze you!

    This year join us for some very exciting seminars that will make your time at our Home Show really pay off!

    Jeff Holper, The MOLE HUNTER
    Jeff Holper, "The Mole Hunter," holds his Terminator University class entitled "I Want to Be a Mole Killer." Holper will help gardeners with their worst nightmare – the mole. Holper has over a decade of experience in eliminating pesky insects and animals that invade yards and homes. His humorous seminar will provide audiences with tips and strategies that will have them well on their way to a mole-free yard.

    In addition to moles, he also teaches his audiences how to deal with other pests, from hornets and wasps to bats and rats. Bring your questions about pest problems to Holper, appearing daily on the Home Show Seminar Stage.

    MAD DOG & MERRILL - The Grilling Guys - Brought to you by Weber Grills & Brownsboro Hardware
    Mad Dog and Merrill, grilling buddies from New London, Wisconsin promote the fine art of barbecue using comedy-laden grilling techniques and demonstrations that awaken the taste buds of people wherever they go. They have grilled together for 20 years and boast five cookbooks - The Grilling Buddies Cookbook, Festever Cooking, Grillology 101, We've Got Gas, and Forever Tailgating.

    They travel the country dispensing wacky humor while they educate people on how to create cooking magic on the barbecue grill. They are expert cooks with exceptional culinary.

    Saturday, March 11th: 12 Noon, 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

    Louisville’s Original Home Show”. This annual event showcases every item you could dream about when it comes to remodeling and fixing up your home inside or out. The products featured are the newest on the market. Whether you are shopping for windows, cabinets, fencing, hot tubs, lighting, or landscaping you will be able to shop and compare prices all under one roof. The Home, Garden & Remodeling Show offers many other home related items and ideas and is the right place to be to get you started on your next home improvement project.

    Join us March 10-12 at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center. Hours are Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    A Premium Ticket bought at the Show is $10 and includes a subscription to This Old House Magazine for one year.
    Regular tickets are $8 for adults; $7 for Senior Citizens and Children 12 & under are free with an adult.

    Parking at the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center is $5. The Home, Garden & Remodeling Show will run trams from the parking lot during Show hours.
