This January, support the Louisville Ballet while enjoying the taste of regional cuisine and craft beer at Pas de Brew! Held Saturday, Jan. 15 at the Muhammad Ali Center, this unique evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome beer, followed by a seated five-course dinner prepared by chef Dean Corbett and his culinary team. The evening will also include an opportunity to bid on unique items in two auctions and dancing. Jared Rouben, a Louisville native and the head brewer of Goose Island Brew Pub in Chicago, will join chef Corbett in discussing the pairings throughout the evening. The cost for the dinner is $200 per person, and high-style cocktail attire is suggested. Dessert and dancing tickets are also available for $60 per person, and will include beer pairings. The Pas de Brew event will also include silent and live auctions, where guests can bid on several items including naming rights to a special beer Rouben will create for the event. Along with naming the beer, the winner of this particular item will get a limited quantity of personal stock featuring their own private label. The dance floor will officially open at 9 p.m. with live music provided by the Seedy Seeds.
