This weekend Louisville welcomes a crowd of hard rock fans courtesy of Louder Than  Life Festival, a festival which has advertised food and drinks to be just as important as the music is. Many questions of curiosity still await this writer as he wonders what Louder Than Life will look like. We also haven't seen these kind of music fans gathered in such a large quantity in a long time. It's sure to be interesting and honestly a good thing for Louisville to have, at least musically, a companion festival for Forecastle for a different kind of music fan.

Here are the essentials for your Louder Than Life weekend:

Louder Than Life Festival--October 4-5 at Louisville Champions Park: Music, Whiskey, and Man Food Festival
