Louisville Metro Mapper ranked fifth out of 122 projects in the first round of an international contest by Net Squared, sponsored by Cisco, to discover and fund internet projects that can empower individuals and foster community. Metro Mapper’s project is called “Your Mapper.” The final round of voting is this week and if Your Mapper continues to rank in the top twenty, funding, resources, and a trip to the conference in San Jose, California is guaranteed.

They also provide do-it-yourself and assisted services to allow community blogs and sites to place our maps on their sites for free.
