LIFEBar celebrates grand opening of second location [Society]

Bardstown Road just got a little bit greener, thanks to LIFEBar.

This past Thursday, the popular health-conscious café celebrated the grand opening of its second location in the heart of Highlands. With a location already in the St. Matthews area, the newly free standing Bardstown Road store made its presence known with an all day celebration, attracting walking traffic from the busy street.

The grand opening kicked off at 2 p.m. and lasted well until the night with a live DJ and a performance by Andrea Davidson. The popular juice joint also offered guests free samples, which included fresh kale, zucchini noodles, and chocolate mousse, in addition to a shot of one of their popular smoothies, the Chocomaca Protein.

The newly opened LIFEBar will offer the same smoothies, blends, and juices that customers have come to love at the Lexington Road location, but plans to shake the menu up a bit by offering raw foods in the near future.

With such a grand and welcoming opening, LIFEBar has high hopes of becoming a neighborhood favorite in the Highlands. With its central location and focus on healthier living, it might very well become just that.

LIFEBar is located at 1570 Bardstown Road and 3738 Lexington Road. The Bardstown Road location is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m, while the Lexington Road location is open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.  For more information, please visit www.lifebarlouisville.com.
