In this one hour multimedia lecture featuring photographs, video and audio clips, Ron Spriggs, tells the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, who manned the first all-black combat units in the U.S. Army Corps. About 450 Tuskegee Airmen were deployed overseas during WWII. Spriggs will detail their groundbreaking achievements and look back at the early days of black aviation. This lecture is FREE. Galleries open at 6 p.m., with lecture beginning at 7 p.m.
