Success By 6 offer monthly parenting workshops on various topics. The goal of Success By 6 is to ensure that every child in our community is healthy, safe, nurtured and prepared to succeed in school by age 6. What is expected of incoming kindergarteners? How do children get registered for school? What kind of documentation is required? Jimmy Wathen, transition specialist, Jefferson County Public Schools will answer these questions and provide tips for parents as they prepare for the exciting transition to kindergarten.
