Season’s Greetings for your holiday season!  Kick off your festive celebration at East Market Holiday Open House!

Looking for a place to kick-start your holiday shopping or liven up your winter spirit?

On Saturday, Nov 17th, the businesses along East Market Street are celebrating the season by hosting an Open House to welcome in the season.  Come on out from 10 am- 5 pm for an afternoon of food & drink, specials, entertainment and Ho Ho Holiday Fun!

JD Dotson of Regalo on Market created the idea for the celebration as businesses along East Market Street are inviting everyone to come and share the excitement of the upcoming season by hosting a Holiday Open House.   According to Leigh Wooton, Sales and Marketing Manager for Red Tree, "The inspiration behind this event is to introduce and encourage new and loyal customers to come to the East Market District for some holiday shopping and cheer!  We are very proud of our neighborhood and all it has to offer.  Although there are numerous events planned down here year 'round by our East Downtown Business Association and of course the monthly Trolley Hops,  this is something we are very excited about and was conceived and planned by JD Dotson. "

Also home to the First Friday Gallery Hop, this area is known for its galleries, unique shopping and dining.  From Contemporary art and glass blowing to wine bars and antiques, there is something for everyone along this corridor.   Wooton also says of Red Tree "Specific to this Holiday Event, we are offering our mix of whimsical, traditional and even risque inventory of ornaments at 50% off.  We are also offering 50% on select holiday decorations."  Find memorable gifts for even the hardest to buy for at Regalo on Market.  Stop downstairs at Jenicca’s for a glass of wine on your way to Swanson Reed, Red Tree and Ray of Light.

There are specials all afternoon for the merriest of shoppers or even for the grinch on your list!
