This film series will premiere with “Coalmining Women,” a short Appalshop film that follows women as they work in the male-dominated coal mining industry. The 1982 film directed by Elizabeth Barret traces the contributions that women have made to past coalfield struggles and the importance of their newer positions as working miners. $4 for KHS members and $8 for all other patrons.
