In conjunction with the Kentuckiana Blues Society, Kentucky Homefront presents an evening of the Blues featuring Malaco veteran Blues favorites, The Beat Daddys. Opening the 1st Broadcast hour is last year’s winner of the Kentuckiana Blues Society’s solo/duo contest, Jon Boy Slim, a Louisville based bluesman performing all original songs.

The 2nd Broadcast hour features One Shot Johnny out of Magnolia, KY. These guys were runners up three years running in the Kentuckiana Blues Society’s band contest and their 2009 CD ‘Times Like These’ was chosen one of that year’s top 12 self – produced CD’s by the Blues Foundation. Opening the 2nd Broadcast hour, from Cincinnati, Ohio, we have keyboardest/vocalist Cheryl Renee.

Storyteller, Paul McDonald, rounds out the evening.
