LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 7, 2010) --- Celebrate Kentucky agriculture this summer by attending the Corbett’s Meet the Farmers Dinner on Tuesday, August 3 at 6:30 p.m. This unique five-course dinner will showcase cuisine made using ingredients from the farms that supply Corbett’s: An American Place throughout the year. Agricultural experts from each farm will be available throughout the evening to meet with guests and answer questions. The cost is $65 per person, plus alcohol, tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (502) 327-5058.
Farms showcased will include: Gallrein Farm (Shelbyville), Garey Farm (Paris), Triple J Farm (Georgetown), Grateful Greens (Louisville), Ol’Land Farm (Prospect), Waterworks Farm (Shelbyville), Bray’s Orchard (Bedford) and Sunshine Farm (LaGrange).

Corn Soup, Rock Shrimp, Cayenne, Tarragon Oil
Salad
Red Veined Sorrel, Fresh Mozzarella and Heirloom Tomato, Basil Vinaigrette
Seafood
Trout, Mixed Baby Peppers and Leeks, Spinach, Lobster Butter
Meat
Prime Beef, Kennebec Potatoes, Green Beans, Carrots, Espagnole Sauce
Dessert
Peach and Wild Berries, Puff Pastry, Honey Almond Ice Cream
