The mild days of fall are numbered, so make the best of what’s left by attending Bison and Beer Fest at Browning’s on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Kentucky Bison Company is teaming up with the restaurant for a cookout on the patio featuring bison sliders for $2.50 per slider and three-ounce samples of brewmaster Brian Reymiller’s signature beers for $1. The event starts at takes place from 5:30 to 8 p.m., providing the perfect excuse for a midweek happy hour.

Bison contains less fat and cholesterol than beef, pork or even chicken, but with its rich red meat flavor, even hard core carnivores won’t be missing a thing. Additionally, Kentucky Bison Company meats are humanely raised and are Kentucky Proud products. Kentucky Bison Company representatives will be behind the grill at Bison and Beer Fest to answer questions and give instructions about cooking bison.
