Seussical, The Musical

“Seussical, the Musical” is a musical based on the books of Dr. Seuss that debuted on Broadway in 2000. The play’s story is a rather complex amalgamation of many of Seuss’s most famous books.
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
August 26 - September 4, 2010
The “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” is a one act musical comedy centering around a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three equally-quirky grown-ups.
Brigadoon
October 21 - November 7, 2010
“Brigadoon” tells the story of a mysterious Scottish village that appears for only one day every hundred years, though to the villagers, the passing of each century seems no longer than one night. No one from Brigadoon may ever leave, or the enchantment will be broken and the site and all its inhabitants will disappear into the mist forever.
Man of La Mancha
January 13 - January 30, 2011
“Man of La Mancha” tells the story of the “mad” knight, Don Quixote, as a play within a play, performed by Cervantes and his fellow prisoners as he awaits a hearing with the Spanish Inquisition.
The Music Man
March 10 - March 27, 2011
“The Music Man” revolves around con man Harold Hill, who poses as a boys’ band organizer and leader and sells band instruments and uniforms to naive townsfolk before skipping town with the cash. In River City, Iowa, prim Marian the librarian sees through him, falling in love with him. Harold, in turn falling for Marian, risks being caught to win her.
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” is inspired by the farces of the ancient Roman playwright Plautus (251–183 BC), specifically Pseudolus, Miles Gloriosus and Mostellaria, it tells the bawdy story of a slave named Pseudolus and his attempts to win his freedom by helping his young master woo the girl next door.
