The Jewish Community Center of Louisville, part of the Jewish Community of Louisville, will be holding its first Doggy Dip on Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 12:00p.m.-2:00p.m. The family pool will be open for dogs of all sizes and will be partially drained so that dogs can use the pool stairs. The baby pool will also be open for smaller dogs.
The cost to participate will be $5 for up to 2 pets. Additional pets will be $2 each. All proceeds will be donated to the Shamrock Foundation (www.shamrockpets.org).
Owners must bring proof of their pet’s vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Parvo. Dogs do not have to be spayed/neutered, but female dogs in heat should not attend. Dogs known to be sick should not attend. Owners are responsible for their pets at all times. Dogs should be on a leash while not in the pool.
