Jack’s Lounge is kicking off its Master Distiller Dinner Series in celebration of National Bourbon Heritage Month on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m. with a visit from Wild Turkey’s master distiller Jimmy Russell. Russell will join mixologist Joy Perrine, who is rolling out a new menu of $9 bourbon drinks from her new book the Kentucky Bourbon Cocktail Book, which will be released in October.

The Wild Turkey dinner with Jimmy Russell will include three courses, each paired with a Wild Turkey bourbon cocktail from Joy’s book, for $60 per person. Tax and 20 percent gratuity are additional. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (502) 897-9721.

Jimmy Russell is the master distiller at the Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, where he has worked since 1954. Devotion to whiskey making is in his blood, as his grandfather and great grandfather worked in the distillery business before him and his son Eddie will after.
