Utilizing heat, gravity and time, create an array of original fused and slumped pieces. Students will learn the technical basics of kiln working. From melting temperatures to annealing temperatures, students will gain an understanding of how glass reacts as it is heated and cooled. Learn to score and cut glass in order to design beautiful, original works of art. Tools and materials are provided. No previous glass working experience is necessary. Pieces may be picked up one week after class or shipped for an additional $15. Six students maximum.
