13 Annual Festival of Faiths
Kentucky International Convention Center
221 South Fourth Street
Cost – $25 (tables of ten $250)
Join us for this annual community gathering, featuring West African medicine man and author Malidoma Somé. Malidoma writes, speaks, and leads workshops all around the world about the lessons of the indigenous world, initiation, ritual and healing. His breakfast talk will focus on the gifts of community and the mutually enhancing relationship between community and community member.
Malidoma Somé is one of today’s most eloquent champions of indigenous wisdom. His life and teaching form a bridge between the traditional ways of his people, the Dagara of West Africa – among whom he is an initiated elder – and the modern world. His books include: The Healing Wisdom of Africa, Of Water and the Spirit and Ritual: Power, Healing, and Community.
