Hunter Embry's Indie Showcase returns to Stevie Ray's this Wednesday night. The showcase, traditionally held after Waterfront Wednesday's, will continue throughout the year one wednesday night each month.

October 18 will showcase bluegrass band, The Whiskey Bent Valley Boys. The boys will be returning to the showcase fresh off the release of their debut album, "Till the End of Time." The Whiskey Bent Valley Boys have spent the better part of the last two years developing their craft throughout several tours and hundreds of shows.

Local south end rocker's, Some Day Soon will be making their Stevie Ray's debut Wednesday, performing their heavy blend of topical rock 'n' roll. Some Day Soon is fronted by singer/songwriter and south end concert promoter, Hippy Head.

Hunter Embry and Dane Rodriguez of The Bad Reeds will also be doing a rare acoustic performance between sets.

Admission is $4. Doors open at 8 pm. Music starts at 9 pm.
