The board of directors at Louisville-based Humana has elected a new chairman.

David A. Jones, Junior succeeds his father, David A. Jones, Senior as chairman of the insurance company's board.

The senior Jones retired Tuesday in compliance with the company's age policy for directors. He's 73.

The younger Jones is also chairman and managing director of Chrysalis Ventures, LLC, a Louisville venture capital firm he founded in 1993.
