Nineteenth-century artists Edward Troye and Thomas J. Scott painted the only visual record of Kentucky’s early sires and mares. Author and educator Genevieve Baird Lacer will discuss the artists and their ability to capture the horses, owners and farms that began Kentucky’s thoroughbred industry. Free.
