If you’re looking for the perfect way to kick off your own Kentucky Derby festivities, you can’t get much more on theme than partying with some local rockabilly musicians whose latest CD is named for the classic ingredients of a mint julep.

Johnny Berry and the Outliers are celebrating the debut of their third album, “Bourbon, Spearmint and Ice” this Saturday, April 10, at Headliners Music Hall on Lexington Road. If you’ve packed into the tight spaces of the band’s regular haunts like Seidenfaden’s or the Longshot Tavern in the past, you'll be able to break out the Western dance moves without accidentally kicking over the mike stand at Headliners. The Outliers will be joined by T. Tommy Clay and the Mickey Clark Band for a show that starts at 10 p.m. and promises to offer some beer-soaked, traditional country music in the spirit of Merle Haggard and the Outlaws. Admission is $5.
