Violinist Nicola Benedetti has captivated audiences and critics with her performances and poise. Benedetti was named BBC's Young Musician of the Year in 2004 and has recently released her third album in 2007 with London Philharmonic Orchestra and Andrew Litton, featuring a new violin concerto written for her by John Tavner called Lalishri. The album debuted at #1 on the United Kingdom's classical chart. Concerts are held at the University of Louisville School of Music, Comstock Hall.
