The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft will host Hats & Hpnotiq, sponsored by Heaven Hill Distilleries Inc., on Thursday, April 17th from 5-8pm. Party goers will browse the exhibitions and shop for one-of-a-kind Derby hats and accessories while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and a variety of cocktails made with Hpnotiq. The evening will also include a presentation titled “Saddle Up For Derby Day Success: Making This Derby Memorable AND Profitable” by Manny Cadima, President of the Louisville Thoroughbred Club.

In addition to the large variety of hats, scarves, purses, and ties in the Gallery Shop, the Museum will host trunk shows by world-renowned hat designers including: Magar Hatworks of Charleston, SC - featuring new and vintage style hats, and Fleur de Paris of New Orleans, LA – a world class boutique that creates handmade, custom hats for international customers who have worn them to the Kentucky Derby, Academy Awards, and other notable events. Other featured designers include Angie Schultz and Sheila Noble of Louisville, Polly Singer of Lexington, Jill Henning of Toledo, and Ann DeVuono of Seattle.

The happy hour party will also feature music by SKL and specialty drinks made with Hpnotiq, a chic blue liquor from France, distributed by Louisville’s Heaven Hill Distilleries. Hpnotiq is an exquisite bl/files/storyimages/of premium vodka, natural tropical fruit juices, and a touch of cognac.

The event is free for KMAC members and $10 for non-members. No RSVP required. There will be a free gift for those who join or renew their membership that evening.
