Habitation, Inc. announces ‘Keep On Giving!’, a very special promotion that offers Habitation shoppers a 15% discount on select furniture items when they donate non-perishable food items for the needy. Habitation, newly opened at The Summit Louisville, has partnered with Toronto-based home furnishings manufacturer Gus Design Group Inc. for this promotion that runs through Sunday, February 15.  Habitation is one of only four locations in North America that houses an exclusive in-store Gus Modern boutique, which offers clean-lined upholstery and functional dining, lighting, and accent pieces.   From now through February 15, Habitation shoppers who bring in at least three non-perishable food items will receive 15% off the regular price on Gus Modern Essentials upholstery, dining, storage, lighting, and accessories.  All collected food will be distributed by Habitation to Louisville-based Dare To Care Food Bank.“The ‘Keep On Giving!’ charitable initiative with Gus Design Group is not your typical post-holiday winter clearance event,” states David Mount, Habitation Co-President and Founder.   “Our goal is to help the needy of Louisville during the winter months when times can be particularly tough.  It gives our customers the opportunity for savings on the purchase of new home furnishings while simultaneously helping those less fortunate throughout our community.”

Habitation offers stylish, durable, and affordable home furnishings and accessories in an inviting, boutique-like setting.  The store’s merchandise mix includes living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture, including an eco-friendly Habitation Green Furniture Collection, as well as a host of accessories such as rugs, linens, and ceramics.  Habitation is located at 4288 Summit Plaza Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40241, TEL 502.426.0807.

Dare to Care Food Bank is a local nonprofit agency with a mission to end hunger in its community.  Last year, Dare to Care distributed 12 million pounds to over 150,000 different people in eight Kentucky and five Indiana counties.  The Food Bank also operates 15 Kids Cafes in neighborhood afterschool locations and Backpack Buddy weekend nutrition programs in 19 elementary schools.
